Moments make memories

What makes us love them so much?
Maybe it's the sloppy kisses or that special way they look at us when they're begging for treats. No matter what it is that makes us love them capturing those moments where the love sparkles in their eyes or the goofy faces that make you laugh the hardest you ever have is what I love to work for!

It's always up to you if you want more candid shots or prompts. Either way it's all about capturing that bond and making your family feel comfortable and having fun!

Each photoshoot is an individual experience

Some dogs warm right up and some don't which I think we can agree goes for people too. Every session is a fun new adventure for us all. We all have different needs and wants so of course every photoshoot will be geared towards those needs. i.e. dog reactivity, easily distracted kids or pups, aging dogs. Everything I learn about your family while setting up your session will help us find the best location for you!

Dog behavior concerns?

Every dog and their person/people deserves a chance to showcase their unique bond. Don't let an excited pup or behavior challenge stop you from capturing your special bond. If your dog is people shy, resource guards, hyper, doesn't know how to sit, or any of the possibilities that's OKAY!

We're not perfect so why should they be? My favorite part of every shoot is figuring out how to make it fun AND get the best photos for you! I have worked with most types of temperaments and behaviors that can help me in different instances. If you have any specific questions contact me below.

FAQ

What should I bring to my photoshoot?

Less is MORE! I can carry any phones or car keys. You are welcome to bring any treats or toys your pup will work for but try to keep away from things that may overexcite them when seeing. I always bring treats and fun items as well. A thinner leash with a solid collar is always best for editing out!

How should me and my pup(s) dress?

Whatever makes you feel good! These are your photos, which means you can dress up or down as much as you would like. I tend to feel more earth tones, pastels or solid colors and not very busy patterns look best. When it comes to your dog, make sure collars aren't fitted tightly. Unless needed for safety stay away from harnesses and chain leashes or collars. I am here to help with any questions.

Does my dog have to be off leash to get great photos?

Of course not! I will do my best to edit out any leashes. The majority of pups I photograph have leashes on and are edited out. You can bring a long line or slip lead for your pup. Being off leash is a privilege and reserved for pups with a solid wait or stay command! Safety first.
